Regel 465:

::Thanks a lot for the answer :)
::The translations there are made for all Wikiprojects, that means, also Wikipedia, Wiktionary, Wikisource, etc. As You sure have noticed You can choose another language in the [[special:preferences]] on every project, these translations come from betawiki. This is why it is so important to translate there. Of course there are some translations that have to be changed locally, but most messages can be globalized due to special magic words, that are automatically adjusted to the project: e.g. <nowiki>{{SITENAME}}</nowiki> would translate here to Wikibooks on Wikipedia to Wikipedia, etc.
::Glad to hear You are interested, we can always need help, the project itself is quite old, but translations are done too often locally, because people simply don't know about it.
::To being able to edit messages there You would need translatorstatus which is given quite quick as soon as You have created a userpage with the language info (and usually with a link to the homewiki) and leaving a note in [[betawiki:Betawiki:Translators]].
